Wednesday walk

I had a good walk this morning! Woo hoo!



 

It was pleasant and cool out. It actually felt like Fall, which is unusual for FL. I even walked a little longer than I normally do. Yay!

 If you want to lose weight, reduce stress, manage depression, etc... try walking. No, it can't cure everything - especially with depression issues. But, it can be part of what helps. If you can manage, it's recommended to walk 3 times a week for 30 minutes. Amount of time walking is more important than how far you walk. (I remember a physical therapist telling Dad that years ago after his heart attack.) If you can't do 3 times, do 1 or 2. Can't do 30 minutes, try 20 or 10. Anything to get going. Walk in place in front of you tv if you have to. And, if it's really not for you, maybe for medical reasons or maybe you have other preferences, try to do something to get moving.
