Directionless

"Directionless" is an abstract expressionist piece, painted in acrylic, on 8"x10" canvas board. 

This started out as a piece for an art contest. Unfortunately, no matter what I did, I was not happy with it. I missed the deadline. I've heard several times, keep painting until you like it. So, I kept working on this. For a while, I thought it might be called "Four Directions", but towards the end, I knew it was "Directionless". I feel that in starting a painting, just to enter a contest, I lost my direction. It took missing a deadline to learn what direction to take.
