Today, my nephew and I attended the Comic Book Connection show. It was great, as always! LOTS of 50-cents boxes to look through! I found a bunch of Archie's from the late 60's / early 70's, some golden age reprint editions (Doll Man, Ibis), and volume 2 of Electric Girl.
Never heard of Electric Girl? Then go hunt down a copy! I read volume 1 years ago, and found it to be charming and a LOT of fun! Look for them at http://www.electricgirl.com
I'm a huge comics nerd, and I love going to the CBC shows. I always get a lot of comics to read, and at a good price. I even get to chat with like-minded people (comic nerds) as well paw through the boxes! The CBC Gang does shows all over Florida, so check them out if you get the chance.
There were a couple of artists at this show as well. The super-talented Savy Lim, who can be found at https://www.facebook.com/SavyLimArtist The guys from Nerdities.net were there as well! Both of them had a LOT of cool art and prints available!
In all, a fun afternoon! Now, it's time to read some comics...
I'm also serving some early 1980's AC Comics realness with this find - Starmasters #1. A duplicate copy for me, but I couldn't leave it orphaned in the boxes. The Men Of Mystery Comics above is one of AC's recent editions. Check out their line of comics at http://www.accomics.com
