Affirmations

After writing affirmations sporadically the past couple of years, I decided to buckle down and work with them this year. So far, so good. However, the affirmation I started using in February didn't feel quite "right" to me. This is happened before. So, what to do when this happens?

*Try rewording it a little bit. Make it sound like something you would say. Simply changing a word or two might make the difference.

*Maybe this affirmation is not for you. It happens. Try finding something with a similar vibe that will help you with what you are trying to accomplish.

*Look inside. The affirmation I mentioned didn't feel right to me because deep down I don't feel that I deserve it. It's an inner message I've been fighting all my life. For me, I use a 6x9 notebook to write my affirmations. While I've changed the affirmation I'm working with, I feel I still need to work with the one I had trouble with. I  changed a word, and I write it at the bottom of the page.

As always, make sure to write (or say) your affirmations as if they have already happened. For example, I have the goal of moving to Thailand. I am working with a form of  "I have the money to move to Thailand".  Yours might look like "I was offered an incredible job." or "I have love and abundance in my life."  There are affirmations that cover all manner of things we want to work on!

Need a notebook to write in? Check out the Korey's World page on Amazon. In addition to notebooks, I also have coloring books, affirmation journals, workbooks, etc... Here is a "Becoming My Best Self Workbook"...
